Soak in the Truth

"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land." Psalms 95:1-5

As the time approaches to give birth to your daughter, your emotions are so close to the surface. You need to soak in the Truth of who I am daily, hourly. The great God, the great King above all gods. I am the One who formed the seas, I hold the mountains in My hands. Dwell in this Truth, that I am strong, powerful, mightier than any other. Capable of deeds beyond your imagination. 

I am also the One who knows you intimately, and loves you without reservation or condition! Dwell in this Truth also - that I care so very much for you and for your precious daughter. I am completely invested in this situation, and My heart aches for every tear you shed. 

Remember this Truth - I AM STRONG, and I AM LOVING! (Psalm 62:11-12). Take joy in this revelation, sing out and celebrate the Truth of who I am.

I Am There

"When I said, 'My foot is slipping!' your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me your consolation brought joy to my soul." Psalm 94:18-19

It is not My plan to keep you on the brink of anxiety or panic! Just waiting for the next bout of bad news! That is not abundant life! My desire is to see you living in My joy each and every day!

In My Presence is fullness of joy! (Psalm 16:11) Fullness! It fills you to the brim and then spills out to everyone you meet! You do not need to dwell in a place of sorrow, grieving that which seems lost! This is an attempt to protect your heart from future pain. Let it go, Beloved, dance with Me in a wild dance of joyful anticipation. Your daughter is fearfully and wonderfully made, and I delight in her beauty! Don't hold back in doing the same!

Do not fear the strong emotions she already evokes in you. Do not fear the journey I am taking you on. I give you beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise instead of despair. (Isaiah 61:3) This beautiful exchange is always available to you as you dwell in My Presence. In Me, you can smile through tears, laugh in the midst of sorrow and be joyful in affliction. There is no guilt in this. I am big enough to contain simultaneous and seemingly contradictory emotions. 

Do not get hung up on externals. Whether your early experiences with her take place primarily in your home or in a hospital ward...I am there! I am able to transform a sterile intensive care unit into a place of beauty by My Presence, which you carry with you! 

Whether you get to hold her close from day one or not - I am there. Though your experience will be different from the last two new babies, it will be no less precious! You will experience moments of intense beauty that are made even more precious by the uniqueness. Trust Me in this. Let go of your fear, and let yourself look forward with excitement. She is so worth it! My Truth is irrefutable, My Hope is boundless - not constrained by mere circumstances. Let Me set your heart free to soar on wings like an eagle. 

Mightier than the Sea

"The seas have lifted up, O Lord, the seas have lifted their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea - the Lord on high is mighty." Psalm 92:3-4

You have seen the power of the ocean. It seems so huge, unpredictable, mighty and powerful. Remember this: I am the Creator of the ocean. I can speak peace to the waves, and they obey My Voice. My Power and Might extend far beyond the ocean, to all of creation. You cannot possibly fathom this Truth in its entirety. But sit with this and let it blow your mind! 

Because I invite you into intimacy with Me, you sometimes forget that I AM the Beginning and the End - the Creator of All, through whom you live and move and have your being. (Acts 17:28). Do you not realise that I hold the world in My hands?

You can trust Me, Beloved. I am Good, and I am Powerful.

"That Makes Me Smile!"

"It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High,  to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night... For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord;  I sing for joy at the works of your hands." Psalm 92:1-2,4

What joy it gives you when your children praise you for your deeds - deeds that you do every day, often without acknowledgement. What delight it gives your heart when your young child thanks you for something specific that you do for him - especially when he says: "Thanks Mummy, that makes me happy! It makes me smile!"

How you love to make your children smile! And how much sweeter when they recognise and thank you for it. 

Oh My dear one - so it is with Me. I delight to hear your praise! What joy it gives Me to hear you say thank You! Especially when you share a smile with Me. So many ways each day I seek to bring a smile to your face. See how many you can spot today! And don't forget to thank Me, and sing for joy!

Any Difficulty

"If you make the Most High your dwelling -- even the Lord, who is my refuge -- then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent." Psalm 91:9-10

If you dwell securely in Me, walking daily, moment-by-moment in My Presence, you are protected from all danger to your soul. Trouble and hardship cannot tear you down when you dwell in Me. You can face any difficulty when you face it in My Presence. 

Yes, any difficulty! Let yourself truly believe this! This is why it is so vital for you to take this journey of learning to walk and dwell in Me seriously. It truly is your best preparation for any coming storm. 

Not only that - it is also the best way to live. The only way to truly have abundant life - you dwelling in Me, and My Life spilling over into you!

Receive

"Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." Psalm 90:14

There is a craving in you that cannot be satisfied by anything but My unfailing Love. How I long to satisfy you each morning with My unfailing Love. Come to Me in your emptiness, your heart-hunger. Come to Me with open hands and open heart to receive My Love afresh each new morning. 

As you receive, you cannot help but be filled with joy and gratitude. Let your heart respond by pouring out praise and thanksgiving to Me all day long. 

Learn To Acclaim

"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they exalt in your righteousness. For you are their glory and strength, by your favour you exalt our horn." Psalm 89:14-17

Walking in the Light of My Presence is something you must practise, dear one. You must learn to acclaim Me, to rejoice in Me all day long! This is a discipline that does not come easily at first. Especially when you are faced with many trials - your heart does not naturally rejoice in sickness and strife! But you are learning to walk in My ways, by the Light of My Presence. I AM your Strength, Beloved, but only as you yield your weakness to Me, remember. 

Practise rejoicing in Me all day long TODAY! Make this your number one focus today. As your other plans have been cancelled due to sickness, grab hold of this opportunity to spend THIS DAY continually turning your heart-eyes back to Me, and speaking out praise and thanksgiving to Me. The sooner you start taking this mandate seriously, the sooner it will become a blessed habit in your life. 

From the Inside

Fear is still your default setting when things "go wrong". Bring all your fears about this day, this week to Me. Lay everything down at My Feet. 

When something upsets your well-laid plans, you feel put-out and out of control. Fear tries to take over your mind, to cause all-out panic and confusion. 

Find space to rest with Me, Beloved. Trust that I will give you the answer to each dilemma at the perfect time. My hand is at work even here. Rest in Me, and be refreshed from the inside. 

Undivided Heart

"Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever." Psalm 86:11-12

Persist in thankfulness and praise, Beloved. Though your heart feels weary and wants to give up the fight, keep on pressing in in praise and thanksgiving. You crave an undivided heart - one free from this eternal battle. You are feeling battle-weary, but you do not realise that the fiercest battle rages within your own heart.

The enemy loves to divide and conquer, and this starts with your own heart. He appeals to your natural, sinful desire to be in control, to know all. But I am teaching you to surrender; to learn to truly trust Me in spite of your circumstances. 

One of the enemy's key strategies is to keep your eyes on the circumstances, and to keep pointing out how the circumstances differ from what I have said. He would make Me out to be a liar. He would have you believe that I am not trustworthy! He wants you to trust in the appearance of the circumstances more than you trust in Me. 

One of My key strategies is to teach you the way of thanksgiving. I know that it feels unfamiliar and contrived to you. But walking in thanksgiving requires faith. Speak out thanksgiving and sing out praise to Me, before you "feel" it. If you cannot find your own words, speak out Psalms of praise. My Word is a living and powerful weapon that the enemy would do anything to keep you from using! He knows all too well the power of speaking out My Word in praise and thanksgiving to push back the darkness. 

He wants to keep you grounded in earthly reality. Walking in eternal night. Keeping you from seeing the sunrise! 

Beloved, you need to step out in faith and start speaking out your agreement with My Truth, regardless of what your circumstances say. Declare that My Truth is higher. Agree with what I have spoken. Declare My Sovereignty over your circumstances. Refuse to allow your circumstances to dictate to you. Refuse to believe what you see before your eyes, but declare what you have seen with eyes of faith! Rejoice in My higher Truth before you see any evidence of it!

Lamp to Your Feet

When darkness clouds your mind, you MUST draw near to Me. Fix your eyes on My Face, for I AM the source of all true Light. Keep your eyes fixed on My Face, and the darkness cannot terrify you. The enemy would strike fear in your heart, but My perfect Love covers and protects you. 

Beloved, you are desperately grasping for control...with mountains looming in front of you, covered by the mist of confusion and the unknown, you are urgently trying to map your course by micromanaging the details of the steps along the way that you can see. 

Stop obsessing over details, my dear one, and remember: My Word is a lamp to your feet, and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Dwell in My Presence, speaking out My Word, and you will stay on track regardless of how much or how little you have planned. 

Hasten the Sunrise!

"O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you." Psalm 84:12

Everyone trusts in something or someone. For many people, it is science, "the laws of nature" and the tangible world. For others, it is the principle of "karma", or some vague higher being. Some people trust only in themselves, others trust only in someone else. But blessed is the person who trusts in Me! 

I am the only one who is 100% trustworthy. Everything and everyone else will let you down sooner or later - but this is no reason to get bitter or shut yourself off from others. Just accept that I am the only 100% trustworthy one, and do not burden others by trying to expect from them what can only be given by Me. 

I AM completely trustworthy! This is why you can praise Me in the midst of deep distress. You can say, like David, "I am in pain and distress; may your salvation, O God, protect me. I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving." (Psalm 69:29-30)

To the world, this seems counter-intuitive and just plain crazy! It is, in fact, your best response to difficulty. Sing your way through every storm. Sing like never before. Sing with all your heart into the night. Declare the coming dawn! Your songs of joy and thanksgiving to Me will push back the darkness and hasten the sunrise!!!

I Am the God Who Gives Life

I gave you that word yesterday to prepare you to face today. So you already know how to face this news you received today...by pressing in to My Presence and praising Me! Praise Me for all that I am going to do here. Fix your eyes on Me, the great Unseen; rather than on the doctor's predictions, and the images of the heart that is not functioning as it should - this is just what is seen, and it is temporary. I am ETERNAL! 

 I am the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were! Be like Abraham, who against all hope, in hope believed in the Promise I had given him. He did not waver through unbelief regarding My Promise, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to Me, being fully persuaded that I had the power to do what I had promised. (Romans 4:17-21)

 Keep on placing your Hope securely in the Truth of who I AM. I AM the God who performs miracles! (Psalm 77:14)

Rejoice Before You See It

"How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca (weeping), they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, til each appears before God in Zion." (Psalm 84:1-2,4-7)

Make this psalm your heart's anthem - yearning and longing for My Presence! This is how your strength is in Me - by dwelling in My Presence, ever praising Me. As you dwell in My Presence praising Me, the valley of weeping you are passing through is actually transformed into a place full of LIFE!

Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5). Where morning dawns and evening fades I call forth songs of joy! (Psalm 65:8) Even in darkness light dawns for the upright. (Psalm 112:4) The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. (Proverbs 4:18)

I tell you Beloved, dawn is coming! So do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in My sufferings so that you may be overjoyed when My glory is revealed! (1 Peter 4:12-13) Therefore, do not lose heart...for your light and momentary troubles are achieving for you an eternal glory that far outweighs them all! So fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal! (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)

Day is coming! Rejoice before you see it, dear one. Hold fast to My Promise that dawn is coming, and rejoice!

I've Got This!

Don't let unexpected changes to your plans for the day throw you into panic mode. You need not fear, dear one! Learn to listen for Me in these changes. Trust Me with your plans. Remember that I can see the bigger picture. Hold My hand and come on a faith adventure with Me, Beloved! Ask in trusting anticipation, "What are you going to do today?"

When you lose your sense of control, it is like waking up from a comfortable sleep. You need to open your eyes and realise that I've got this! Control is just a comfortable illusion. Let it drift away like fog, and see the bright Light of My Face shining on you. Bask in My Light. Put your whole heart into the act of trusting Me. I've got this!

Dawn is Coming!

See how different things look in the daylight? Your experience of the world is like someone living in eternal night, never having experienced the sun's bright rays. You think you can see clearly, because night vision is all you know. You are so familiar with seeing the world at night, under the cover of darkness, that it seems that this is the truest reality. But every now and then, on a very clear night with a bright, full moon, you get a glimpse of something more! 

There is a higher reality, Beloved! Dawn is coming! Soon, you shall discover the world anew, bathed in golden sunlight, it will look entirely different! What currently appears to be an insurmountable obstacle - a mountain you cannot possibly climb - will be revealed as a series of beautiful rolling hills, with a clear pathway through them. 

My Light will illuminate your heart eyes in a way that never seemed possible before. Issues of faith that you have grappled with for years, when viewed in My Light, will suddenly appear laughingly simple! 

Hold on, dear one, and keep pressing in!

Through the Pain

Listen for Me through the pain, Beloved. Do not give in to the enemy's attempts to block your ears! I am stronger than your heart, and greater than the dark! Pain's voice seems terrifyingly loud and booming. Be still, and know that I AM GOD. Do not let pain distract you from Me. Listen for My still, small voice after the earthquake, the fire and the whirlwind. Press in to hear My voice, dear one, even in the midst of excruciating pain.

Everlasting Arms

When you rest in My Sovereignty, your whole world looks different! Here, you can be FINALLY FREE from worry, fear, and anxiety of all kind! 

I AM Lord over all! This Truth is higher than any other idea that sets itself up as truth. 

You cannot possibly plan for every detail. You just cannot work it all out and make it go to plan. Learn what you need to know, but remember - I AM Lord over all. Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is My purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21) In his heart a man plans his course, but I determine his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)

Trust in Me, Beloved. Trust in Me with ALL of your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding! Seek My will in ALL you do, and I will show you which path to take! (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When an anxious thought arises, wrestle it to My Feet and leave it there. If it requires an action from you, I will guide you. If it is a matter of "wait and see", there is no safer place to wait than in My everlasting arms. (Deuteronomy 33:27)

Use Your Words

O My Precious, how your unbelief hurts My heart! Think about your relationship with your own children - when they attempt something on their own and fail, they cry and moan, "It's not working!!!" 

How often do you need to gently remind them, "If you are having trouble, just use your words to ask Mummy for help."

I am here, not just for you to spend time with each morning to draw strength for the day. There are so many things "not working" in your life right now, and so often I see you throw up your hands, cry and moan, "It's not working!"

Dear one, just use your words to ask Me for help! Keep bringing these situations to Me for My help, and wait on Me for answers and direction. This is how I transform the target the enemy has on you to a target for blessing...as you let each trouble or difficulty push you to truly depend on Me more fully, and walk with Me more closely. 

Do not think that you have to just put up and shut up. You can only manage that for so long before self-pity and bitterness take over! Believe in Me! Trust Me for deliverance! Yes, even from crushed sewage pipes, telecommunications problems and children's persistent bed-wetting! Watch as I open the doors and rain down "manna" solutions to your needs. 

Ask, in childlike faith, and it will be given to you!

Targets for Blessings

I love you, dear one! I really do! More than you can imagine. I am with you through these difficulties. I do not want you to walk it alone!

You feel like you are walking with a target on your forehead and on your back. But do not be deceived - what the enemy intends for harm, I use for GOOD! Those very targets that the enemy sets on you become targets for My blessings, miracles and Love! 

So you can stop feeling sorry for yourself right now, and start thanking Me for My Love, and My hand at work on your behalf. I am Good, and I am working for your good. I dare you to believe it! 

Resplendent

"You are resplendent with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game." Psalm 76:4

My Presence is resplendent with light! Beautiful one, I am inviting you to come and bask in that light right now - and any time you choose! The darkness in you has been conquered by My perfect sacrifice, and you live under the cover of My blood - forgiven and set free to step into the resplendent Light of My Presence with clean hands and a pure heart. 

Think on this - how truly breathtaking is My Love for you! How My heart skips for joy when you respond to My invitation. This is what I long for! Put everything else out of your mind, and just enjoy the Light of My Presence. Bask in My warmth, let Me fill you afresh with all you are lacking. 

As you lay here, soaking up the warmth and Light of My Face, you begin to see yourself and your world from My perspective. Stay a little longer, darling. You will not regret it! Nothing else comes close to this exquisite joy! Nothing compares with intimacy with Me. 

Patiently

You are so impatient, dear one. Just rest and wait on Me. You want answers immediately. You want results quickly. Wait on Me, and remember who I am. Wait patiently for Me, Beloved. 

Leave tomorrow in My hands, and rest with Me today. I've got this - it's not up to you to keep Me "on task". Your best job right now is to rest with Me and enjoy My sweet Presence. This will reap rewards in the future in ways that you cannot even begin to imagine. 

Stop limiting yourself (and Me) by focusing on what you cannot possibly control. Just rest, and wait on Me.

Ruining Your Appetite For Lesser Things

"Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever...as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds." Psalm 73:25-26, 28

Just resting with Me, dwelling in My Word, and opening up your heart to Me increases your awareness of Me, which increases your desire for more of Me! The more time you spend in My Presence, the more you long for even more! 

I satisfy your soul as with the richest of foods, and I ruin your appetite for lesser soul-foods. The more gourmet soul-food you consume, the more distasteful junk-soul-food becomes to you! 

I am re-training your heart's cravings. As you taste more and more of Me, and see that I AM GOOD, lesser things no longer appeal to you in the same way. But you can easily disrupt this process by consuming more of the lesser things, and less of Me. So be careful what you take in, Beloved. Not out of rules, guilt or obligation, but because of your love for Me. 

Honour the work I am doing in your heart, and steward it well. 

Open Wide Your Mouth

Look to Me for your every need, dear one. I AM Jehovah Jireh - your Provider. I long to provide you with all the strength, energy, love, patience, wisdom and joy that you need for today. I am your Supply of all Good things. I am your Shepherd, and you need not want for any Good thing! 

Drink deep from the well of abundance this morning, Beloved. "Open wide your mouth and I will fill it." (Psalm 80:10)

Treasure Hunt

Too often, Beloved, you count your troubles. They seem so many, and you want to count them to compare with "normal", to see if you are particularly stricken at the moment. When other people comment on the number of troubles that are besetting you at present, you feel justified in wallowing in that mucky pit of self-pity for a while. 

Counting your troubles - or recounting them to others - will only leave you feeling hard-done-by and stricken. This is not at all helpful. 

Like the Psalmist, say: "But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone." (Psalm 71:14-17)

This is an act of your will - you can choose to count and recount My mighty deeds rather than your troubles. Practise this in your own thoughts, aloud in your home, and with you husband and children. 

You know the psychological phenomenon that what is foremost in your mind is what you will notice most. When you were newly pregnant, you suddenly saw pregnant women everywhere. This phenomenon can work for you or against you. At the moment, your mind is set on the troubles you seem to keep encountering. I want to shift your mind's setting to seeing Me at work in your circumstances. 

I want each day to be like an exciting treasure hunt for you. That you would be on the look-out for My hand at work, and that you would excitedly proclaim My mighty deeds to those around you - that you would not be able to keep it in! Gratitude will be a natural response, rather than self-pity. Try it today! 

Only Jesus Will Do

There is much you can learn from your sick children, Beloved. They so cling to you in their misery. All they want is you, no substitute will do. They so desire to be in your presence that if you leave the room, they cry out for you. They are not content to be sitting next to you - they want to be curled up on your lap, snuggled against your breast. They desperately crave the comfort that only Mama can give. 

When you are feeling miserable, whether because of sickness or sorrow, just cling to Me. Do not be content to be anywhere but in My Presence. Curl up on My lap, snuggle against My chest. You are desperately craving the comfort that only I can give. Reject all substitutes...only Jesus will do.

Urgency

"Hasten, O God, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me...come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay." Psalm 70:1,5

Know the urgency with which you need My help! Don't make it a last resort to lift your voice up and cry out to Me. I want to be your first port of call. And your second, third, fourth, etc. When you feel like you are calling to deaf ears, press in. Don't give up, Beloved. Seek Me with your whole heart!

Refuse to be distracted by sickness, pain, tiredness, weakness, busyness - in ALL these times, you need Me even more. Make it an urgent priority to carve out time for Me. Even if all you can do in that time some days is to just rest in My embrace. I give strength to the weary, and increase the power of the weak. Those who hope in Me will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:29,31)

Hope in Me, dear one.

Never Alone

Surrender your heart to Me completely this morning, dear one. Trust Me fiercely, with all that is in you. Declare My Trustworthiness over your situation. Practise all that I have been teaching you:

• yield your weakness to Me
• lean into My Presence
• sing out My praise
• practise thanksgiving
• fix your eyes on Me
• recite My credentials

Trust Me with your whole heart! I am in this with you. Always remember that I never ask you to face anything alone. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are never alone.

The Radiance of My Being

Psalm 68

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens. Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death." vs 19-20

"Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice. Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies. You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!" vs 32-35

Listen, dear one - are you getting this? Your circumstances need not define you. Unpleasant circumstances need not dictate a bad day. I have given you power to shift the atmosphere of your home. As you have been practising, singing declarations of praise to Me is one way to change not only your own mood, but the presiding atmosphere over your household. 

Like King Jehoshaphat, who sent singers ahead of his army (2 Chronicles 20), you can pave the way for My Victory. It is I who works the victory, but I want you to participate in it! Proclaim My Mighty Power to your circumstances, then watch Me at work! Watch how I empower you and give you strength far beyond that which you possess in yourself. 

Do not wonder why you are being stretched so...did you not pray for Me to expand your boundaries? Do not fear trouble or difficulty, Beloved. The darkness is a canvas for My Light and Radiance. Difficulty can only cripple you if you live in fear of it! 

I am so much greater than any difficulty that you could possibly face, dear one! Look to Me. Let the Radiance of My Being shine on you and envelop you. 

Just Sing!

When dark clouds hover over you, threatening to envelop you, sometimes you just need to SING! When speaking out words of praise feels like you are just spewing rhetoric - SING! Declare My praises in song...wobbly and out of tune though it may be. Do not worry about how you sound, just SING to Me. This takes you out of your head and into your heart. 

Have songs that you know well as battle songs, and sing these when you are struggling to spontaneously sing praise. Sing with your whole heart, sing in agreement with My Truth. 

My angels declare My praises with singing. When you sing My praise, you are joining with the angels, in agreement with Heaven! 

Despair retreats at the formidable sound of My dear ones singing praises to Me!

Praise is not something you do just when you feel like it. It is a sacrifice that costs you something, especially when you don't feel like it. You actually school your emotions by choosing to praise Me in all circumstances - in this way, you teach your emotions that they are not the ultimate authority in your life, that they cannot dictate all your thoughts and actions. 

Praise is a beautiful weapon of My Light, pushing back the darkness that would advance against your soul. As you sing and speak out praise to Me, your emotions will bow to the superior Truth that I AM.
